Beuaty is anything that takes us out of anything real and remind us of some supreme creator whose hand guide and define our time on earth.
I have experineced
1. Joy and I have smiled while eating delicious food- a large chunk of love must have been added to it. First time I experienced it in Bangalore when having breakfast at Partha and Tupu's house.
2. The innocence of children make me reach out, touch, smile, bless them
3. While chanting at Iskon, I have cried and I have smiled- without intending to do either
4. Few days back, while reading The witch of Potobello by Paul Cohelo, I could feel several times that my eyes warmed up and was moistened.
5. I have always been drawn to graceful people- they radiate such devinity.
6. Unsploit nature, be it Matheran in India, Palawan and Boracay in Philippines that say's man cannt yet make anything like these, probably never will be able to, makes us feel serene and lost in them
Each of these experiences define what beauty is.
Beauty is not what commercials trying to sell their products want us to believe. Beauty is always crafted by nature.
Pray to seduce Destiny
This is the turmoil of my my growing up years in a capsuled few lines. Someday, I will tell the story of my grwoing up years to my son Shrihaan, now six, just so he knows all I did and all my reactions were not always intended to be so, they were often conditioned by my many not so pleasant experiences in Life. I try to come out of it but often they raise their ugly head to spoil my present. Yet, I feel blessed and remain extremely positive about life. Life3's good, with prayers.

Good things still happen
Being in Manila, far away from Mumbai, its quite difficult to manage investment and other related things back in India. Specially, when there are still banks with not so good online facilities and that means a physical visit is required to make a FD, deposit to the PPF account etc.
We havent gone to India since June, 07 and we will next go there in Dec, 08. So how do we manage our things.
Thats where Sanjay comes into the picture. He has done this not once but allready twice, spending his personal time and money to go to the bank couple of times to get out stuff done. Invariably, he will have to call me to get some clrifications and let the banks know about it. He even follows up till the job is done.
He is just a collegue to me but his easy understanding of our need makes it even easy for me to ask for favours.
Truely, relatives dont always live under the same roof. I believe if one does good, good come back to him and Im sure he will have lot of happiness and peace in live. Atleat, we pray for him.

Oil spike and investment
We are in the middle of a tough time with soaring oil prices resulting in increase in food price and price of everything. Inflations close to all time high.
To worsen the situation. The oil price is controlled in many countries with very wrong vision. Since price is controlled, people dont bother about consuption without realising that goverment would subsidise their spending on oil with the tax they have paid which could be used for better purpose like health, education, infrastucture.
Infact, the oil subsidy in these countries is subsidising the oil producing countries.
If the price is allowed to be dictated by market conditions, people will reduce consumption, thus reducing its demand which will make the price come down. It is allready happening in US but it need to happen in big countries like India, China etc.
This level of oil price is not sustainable and price will come down to below $100 a barrel. When is the question!
All the businesses with depressed profit because of increased oil price will turn profitable then. Time to invest in these businesses is now.
