Baguio trip

Holy weel in Manila means holidays for close to a week you one is bit innovative in managing leaves.

We decided to go to Baguio for 4days which is famed to be the summer capital of Philippines.

It took us 5hours to reach there. The drive was pleasant. Our driver, Jerry had gone there 8 times but was totally clueless about the roads as if it was his first time.

It was choke a block with filipinos holidaying there, it may be a good idea to plan one holidays when no one else is planning a holiday.

Compared to many of the hill stations all over India, Baguio was a let down. It was really ugly to look at some of the mountains covered with houses.

But the weather was nice and pleasant and not everyday we sit by the fireplace and chat or watch a Hindi movie. we did that every evening in Baguio.

The famed strawberry farm had the look of a place which has been trampled and we saw really few starwberries in there!

It rained one afternoon and then we saw the biggerest ever rainbow we have seen in our life. It was awesome. The boat ride in the lake is an pleasant experience. Its again famed for cheap but artistic furniture and we were bit disappointed on that front.

On our way back we went to 100 Islands and the look and feel of the place was brathtaking. Small island scattered all over the sea teell the story that years ago some massive force has torn the land mass away to result in so many islands!

We pray for the stability of our mother earth!
