Yesterday, we had another once in life time experience of being there in the concert by Utad Gulam Ali which ended with him singing along with his son.
He seemded frail and short of breath at the end. Still full of life and humour, the range and depth of his mastery over Gazal is legendary and there is no one like him today.
He spoke several times about Jagjit Singh. We hiss him too.
Shennu didnt concentrate to listen to it but we do home it would have seeped into his subconcious and will manufest and make him richer someday in future.
We resolved to attend such events more.
