Learning to cycle!

Yesterday, Shenna achieved a milestone again.

Since, he was around 1 & 1/2, he have had cycles. He had three cycles so far but all were tricycles.

Yesterday morning, I removed the support wheel from his cycle with his agreement and assitance and in the evening we went to the Salcedo park for him to practice. we attended SatyaNarayan Puja in the evening and had to go the part at around 10pm when we returned home since he had made me do a pink promise that we would take him to the park.

I helped him cycle initially for sometimes and he didnt have balance. Then I was resting and suddenly saw him cycling away on his own! He has learnt to cycle practically on his own. He had few falls there after but being the sportsman that he is, quickly he would get up and say that he was not hurt.

He is not even six now and he was thus very very excited that he could cycle on his own! we clapped!

later he asked me how was his cycling. I said, 'excellent'. He said with a smile,' or is it fabulous?'
I replieed, 'it is fabcellent'!

We thank God for helping us have joys and happiness and helping him grow the way he should!
