The first impression about him was that he tended to act bit extra smart, unneccessarily. He would try to show off and had a air of one who knows it all. Overtime, his inner simplicity, his very middle class grooming, typical thoughts one associate with mediocre upbrings, the goodness, helpfulness became aparent. He would divulge things gleaned from corporate gossiping and also help much beyound what one could expect from a collegue.
Being protective towards his subordinate was another aspect of his personality. It appeared to be normal and nothing worng about it. He openly took credit for changing her look and appearance from a something nondescriptive to something acceptable, allmost being attractive.
He was married with kids and given his personality no one would have expected him to walk beyound the narrow and straight line that the simple people walk. He was fond of his son.
There was no reason to think anything other than this over a period of three four years.
Fasttracked to 2010, a friend of his disclosed that he has fallen in love with his suboridinate and wasd ready to divorce his wife to marry her. Shocking would be an understatment. But then who says that in life anything is as it appears.
Any pride in being able to read people is nothing more than something wating to be shattered.
Honesty is afterall nothing but either lack of courage or opprtunity.
