Making a vacation plan is always a last minute effort for us and now is the time to make the bookings for hotels and figure out the travel plan. We decided to visit Rajasthan this time for the uniqueness of the place. However, some research revealed that it is a good 2 wk trip if we have to only cover the must see places and we have budgetted only 7days or so since we also wanted to be in Delhi to meet family and visit the golden temple at Amritsar and Wagha border. So we have now made most of the travel plan during 19-28th December. This is the live diary of the vacatio n starting with the planning!!
Where we will stay?
It took us lot of research and considering that we have decided to splurge a little during the holiday season, our plan to stay are followes:
19-20 the Dec - The Park Plaza Jaipur
20-21th Dec- Park Plaza, Jodhpur
21-23rd Dec- The Gateway Taj Hotel, Jaisalmer
24-25th Dec- The metropolitan, New Delhi
26-27th Dec- The Sarovar Hotel, Amritsar
27-28th Dec - The IBIS, New Delhi
Its a nice mix of luxury and budget hotels of certain defined standard.
