Coconut oil doesnt help in growing hair

There is no evidence that Coconut oil helps to grow hair because it doesn't help to grow hair. Coconut oil doesn't help in growing hair - period!! This myth that coconut oil helps to grwo hair is wrongly propagated by self-professed natural experts and bloggers with little understanding of anything scientific and peddlers of coconut oil. Using coconut oil is only good to manage the hair and control frizz. However, coconut oil being greasy, makes the hair sticky and also attract dust and soil particles in air to stick. Coconut oil being a oil helps to retain moisture in the scalp. It also makes the hair stink. For hair growth, one need to use a good herbal oil that is proven to deliver hair growth in clinical studies.
It is very simple- coconut oil is used only in south Asia and only by older generations. None in the rest of the world use it and their hair grows just fine.
Coconut oil is used by anyone who have failed to embrace modernity. A good shampoo and conditioner does all that coconut oil do and do more in making the hair look great, moisturize it and ensure great health of the scalp and hair.
So stop using coconut oil, just shampoo hair twice a week and hair and scalp health will be just fine.
