World in peril

Just watched one of the touching and unnerving movies I have ever seen- its inconvenient truth by Al Gore. Its on the impact and havoc we are creating on environment and the kind of price we have started to pay for it and worse, the implication of our random deeds for future.

Its a must see movie for annyone who hope for a decent future for his/her kids atleast.

We must reduce our rampnat consumptions and must weight each of our deeds against its impact on the enviroment before committing to anything.

This is also one of the rare case where we do good to ourselve and get monetary benefits out of it.

Most of the hotels around the globe got a green agenda primarily because it results in huge benefits for them but in the process it does good to all of us since it does good to the environment.

Each one of us can make a difference and we will be fooling ourselves and jeopardising our future if we thought that protecting the nature is the onus of goverment. a wise person will not leave anything critical for government to deliver.

Do we leave education of our children to government? As parent, we do everything to teach our children so that they would be fit to survive and excel in the world.

Save nature, think and weigh each of your deeds and reduce carbon load from your lives.

I have decided to reduce carbon load we generate in our family and will share soon some of the things we are implementing in our lives to achieve it.

1. Use public transport. Indulge in car pulling. Dont call that cab when we can walk down. It saves money, improves health, reduce carbon load.

2. Reuse everything that can be reused. Use printout for rough paper work. Take printout on both sides of the paper. Reuse water bottle.

3. Have a cloth bag to bring grocery from the mall. Refuse to take the plastic bags. Sip from the glass and dont use the straw.

4. Plant trees. Stop burning waste. Abstain from usage of fire crackers.

These are small things that can easily be practised. Start practicing. Keep thinking. Keep sharing.
