Cha-Am, Thailand this weekend

Had a evening out and drink on firday night. Came back bit late and was going to bed around 12.30am when she wanted me to book a hotel in Cha-am for the weekend. I was so sleepy that all I could do was to promise to do it 10minutes and waste no time in sleeping off.

Nextday, saturday I get up around 9am with still some tiredness left in the body and was told to book the hotel Marriot Courtyeard at Cha-Am. Still blinking realised that if I did the booking then we have to leave in  couple of hours to be on the way to Cha-Am.

Noticing the steely determination in her, I wasted no time and did the fastest hotel booking of my life.

It helped that Dona had done the research.

So, we left for Century minibus station (Victory Monument) and took a Minibus from there. The ride was usual ride that one can expect in Thailand. Great roads lined with various trees and fields plowed for rise and other vegetable.

The view from our room in Marriot Counryeard got forever etched in our mind at the first gaze itself. The vast expansive sea stared at us calmly, majestically.

The beach was not very friendly to the bare feet and sand was very coarse. Besides, there are lot of jelly fish, known to be poisonous, around on the beach. But the swiming pool allmost on the beach quickly became the place to hangaround like everyone else.

The Kids game room was an unique experience in how pampering can be defined. Shrihaan got addicted to the place in time.

The Momo cafe on the beach had a barbeque buffet dinner and wonderfully they charged us one person less.

Our one day stay got over in no time. Shrihaan cried bitterly and wanted to stay there probably for many more days. We will go back there if we stay in Thailand for sometimes for sure.
