Tough times dont last

The world economy is in a mess and in this mess lies great opportunities. Ones who can guess when the bottom is reached will be very very rich when the economy turns around.

09 so far has proven to be tough year for us.

Our contract would end in Sept this year and we will have move to another country. When we came to Manila, we were hoping for a EU stint afterthis but given the recession, US and EU seems to eb out of bound.

It seems we might have to go back to India. Not something, we are very happy about. Looking back, ones educations seems to be planned very well and mine were not.

The parents got a role to play and one got to be lucky to have parents who are clued on to the world.

Even then parents can go wrong or the children may not follow their advise. When its too late, lot of realisation dawns.

Im not sure what should I do onwards. An MBA? Cling to the job and try to grow in an increasingly contracting organisation?

Even investment planning is difficult when on lives as expat with no clarity on what lies in future or target place to settle.

All we can do is pray and Im sure prayers are always answered.

Life's uncertain. Few days back, Himangshu slept and didnt get up. He left behind Henna, two children aged 18 and 10. I chocked listening to it wondering how they will manage. Our prayers are with them. Since then, every night while going to bed, I pray for a long live for ourselves. Also I pray that live be good for everyone.

Wonder why God made the world so unfair and uncertain.
