Life moves on

Since we came back from Boracay and enjoyed the Saraswati Puja, we went through some tough time for a month or so.

Dona had chiken pox when I was travelling to Bagio and had to rush back immidiately. Did some internet searches and the findings were scary.

We asked our maid to stay for the whole day and fortunately she agreed. It was another matter that she stayed in our place, mostly to sleep.

Shenna developed aversion to the mashed potato, the way she used to give it her and I had to keep some food for him so that onece he would come back from school, he wouldnt go hungry.

It was very tiring managing everything and I realised the load Dona used to bear.

Offcourse, we, father and son survived on FKC food, for quite often we had dinner there.

In difficult times, one realises worth of friends.

Our friends used to send food for us and there were days when we got food from two families and we used to grateful and overwhelmed.

I was scared and prayed very hard. Meditated a bit.

Dona got cured and resumed normal life few weeks back now. She is worried about te scars left and hope they go away soon.

We now look forward to our annual holidays in mid June. We will spend 5days in Singapore, 8-9days in Mumbai and then go to Kolkata. I will lead a bachelors life in Manila for a month when the mother-son duo will spent a month in Calcutta and not looking forward to this atall.

Got promoted so tat can concentrate on work next few years again.

Shenna is growing up and bossing us around a lot. For whatever reason, he doesnt want to study though he is quite curious and picks up things easily. But he doesnt like reading and writing. Its parenting blue on how to motivate to learn to read and write.

Will pray and meditate.
