Turning 8, our boy!

Shrihaan will be eight this 18th August. He is still so very undecided what to ask for his birthday gift.

Many nights he spent dreaming about PS2 since his close friend has got it. The he came to know his friend is in fact asking his mom to buy him PSP which Shrihaan has got. He thus got little confused even after doing innumerable internet search that convinced him that PS2 is a better choice. We didn't get any new games since we left Manila about a year back and hence he must be bored playing the same games. Its such a great experience and joy discussing with him everyday before going to bed what should be his gift.

A trip to MBK to checkout the games is thus in order today. We went and bought a memory card full of games! Wonderful to see his face lightup, am sure next few days he would be inseparable from his PSP.

He also wants a lego.

He is always the youngest boy in the class. So much so that he school reopens on 18th August which is his birthday. He has given his friends the impression that he is 9year old and thus forbid Dona to take any cakes or anything to his class on that day!

We will invite his close friends Fillip (Born in NZ of Croetian parents), Florian (German-Chinese, a nice musically inclined boy who will be going to Germany soon) and Ariaman and Aushman( they moved to Bangkok recently from New Delhi).

Since moving from Manila to Bangkok, Shrihaan didn't have much friends apart from his close friends and we used to rue it dearly. However, Ariaman and Anushman moved in to our building at the beginning of his summer vacation and they had a wonderfultime together. They were Godsend for him. They moved to their permanent place today and presumably all the boys 9and their parents) are quite sad.

Still we are undecided what we should gift Shrihaan for his birthday. We know thought that we would do everything to make him happy and smile.

PS: I will be missing his birthday on 18th August since I will be travelling to Jakarta during 17-19th August. Got to make it up when I come back.
