Adoption.

Its a ritual now to play pool with Shrihaan in the evening since we moved to Fraser Place.

We have been seeing this European couple during breakfast and evening moving around with two distinctly Asian looking kids.

Shrihaan's skate was broken since we moved from Manila since one of the screw was missing. Today we managed to get a replacement for the same and fixed it. So, we went to the tennis court for him to practice and then we went to play pool. The european guy and his boy was there playing. We got talking and he shared that he has adopted the boy five year back and now came to adopt the daughter. He is german settled in Brussle.

That got us talkiing after we came back home. We have wondered many times about adopting a girl from Philippines. We asked Shrihaan for his view and he went wild (with a laugh offcourse) when we told him that she would sleep with us and she would call me dad! He vehemently demanded to rent a boy so he can fight with him.

Later, he asked if we can adopt a white girl. Dont know what he understood when I explained why children from mostly Asia can be adopted and not whites in general.

Oftentime, we touch things on the surface and hesitate to go deep fearing to unearth things unplesant, not nice.

We wish the german couple with two thai children all the best in thier lives.
